Mijas Village [Pueblo]

Slightly inland from the coast is Mijas Village or Pueblo. This is definitely one of the jewels of the Costa del Sol.

It is tucked away in the mountainside, not far inland and is very popular with tourists because it has managed to retain its original Andalucian charm and character.

There are a great selection of restaurants, tapas bars, craft shops and much more and well worth a visit. Local artists frequently display their work. It is also well known for hosting international food and music festivals.
