Golf and Golf Courses

A good selection of courses are available on the coast. Mijas Golf course comprises two 18 hole courses, Los Lagos, which is an 18 hole par 72 course and Los Olivas, 18 hole, par 71. Both Mijas Golf courses are open to the visitor. You can relax and have a meal at the clubhouse too. If you are a keen golfer Los Lagos has fairly wide fairways and greens with lots of quite challenging water hazards. Although Los Olivas is not as long, it is the harder of the two courses.

During the last decades, Mijas Golf has become one of the most popular golf complexes in Europe, known by the outstanding condition of their courses and the friendly atmosphere and excellent service provided to the clients. The courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, are situated in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola, only twenty minutes from the Málaga international airport and Marbella, and 3.5 kms. from the sea.
