Skydive Spaceland Clewiston said the experienced skydiver Sue Sweetman of Hainesport, New Jersey, perished in an accident on her second jump of the day on January 15.
She experienced difficulty with her primary parachute “after a successful, uneventful 7-person drop,” they continued. She did not open her backup parachute and dropped it relatively low to the ground. The weather had no impact.
